Jamuna Bank managers vow to boost income

Managers of Jamuna Bank Limited have vowed to play an effective role in augmenting the income of the bank having reviewed the profitability of the preceding year.
They made the pledges while speaking at the Half Yearly Branch Managers Conference-2008 of the bank in the city recently.
Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Md Tazul Islam inaugurated the conference, said a press release.
The overall progress in the bank's operation was reviewed at the conference while short-term and long-term strategies for development of the bank were also adopted.
All the managers of 35 branches were present at the conference.
Among others, Vice Chairman of the board of directors Kanutosh Majumder, directors Nur Mohammed, AKM Mosharraf Hossain, Md Nurul Alam and MA Khayer, Managing Director Mohammed Lakiotullah, Additional Managing Director Md Motior Rahman and deputy managing directors MA Salam and Md Alauddin Al-Azad were present at the conference.
