Jamuna Bank opens 36th branch at Keraniganj

Jamuna Bank Limited (JBL) opened its 36th branch at South Keraniganj Monday, said a press release.
JBL board of directors Chairman Md Tazul Islam inaugurated the branch.
Also present at the inaugural ceremony were JBL Board of Directors Vice-president Kanutosh Majumder, its Foundation and Audit Committee Chairman Nur Mohammed, Director Shaheen Mahmud, Managing Director (CC) Md Motiur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director MA Salam, Executive Vice-president Md Alauddin Al-Azad and Company Secretary Md Anwar Hossain along with local industrialists, clients and well-wishers.
The chairman of the bank specially laid emphasis on the role of private commercial banks in the economic development of the country.
JBL has a wide vision to become a leading banking institution of the country, he said.
He expressed the hope that the new branch would surely serve its customers with utmost satisfaction by applying modem technology.
