Jamuna Bank signs bilateral deal with Post Office

Jamuna Bank Limited (JBL) recently singed a bilateral agreement with Bangladesh Post Office (BPO) for speedy and secured delivery of money of Bangladeshi expatriates working abroad, said a press release.
JBL Managing Director (current charge) Md Motior Rahman and BPO Director General Mobasherur Rahman signed the agreement on behalf of the organisations.
Also present at the signing ceremony were JBL Board of Directors Chairman Md Tajul Islam, Vice-Chairman Kanutosh Majumder, Jamuna Bank Foundation Chairman Nur Mohammed and DMDs MA Salam and Md Alauddin Al-Azad, and BPO Director (mails) AKM Rafiqul Islam along with other high officials of both the organisations.
Under the agreement, the bank can now handle/disburse the inward remittance across the country easily, quickly and safely to the recipient by using more than 10,000 postal outlets of post offices where there is no branch or distribution network of the bank.
