Signed recently at the bank's head office in Gulshan-1, Dhaka, the agreement aims to improve access to world-class healthcare for Bangladeshi patients seeking treatment abroad through a structured and transparent framework, says a press release.
The MoU was formally executed by representatives of the three partner organisations. They are: Md. The ceremony was also attended by Md. Mehedi Hasan (EVP, Head of Treasury, Jamuna Bank), Guo Cheng Zhuo (Marketing Manager), Wu Peng (Director, International Medical Center) from Shenzhen Hengsheng Hospital and engineer Md. Mozammel Haque from BRHC.
Under this collaboration, a structured framework has been established for patient referral and access to advanced healthcare in China.
Jamuna Bank cardholders will receive up to 8 per cent discount on treatment costs (above RMB 20,000, T&Cs apply), making quality healthcare more affordable for Bangladeshi patients. "We have always been committed to delivering enhanced services and exclusive privileges for our valued customers," said Md. Jahangir Alam.
This agreement will ensure that patients receive world-class medical care, said Abidur Rahman.
The MOU covers a comprehensive network of 12 internationally accredited Chinese hospitals, offering specialized medical services across oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pediatrics, traditional Chinese medicine, and more.
