Canon image communication products that cover Canon digital camera, video camera and digital SLR cameras will now be available in the local market soon.
JAN Associates Limited, authorised distributor for Canon consumer system products (printer, AIO, scanner and projector) has recently bagged the distributorship for Canon image communication products.
While disclosing this at a press conference on Thursday, Abdullah H Kafi, Chief Executive Officer of JAN Associates Ltd, said that earning distributionship is an achievement in representing Canon with loyalty and service in the country for over a decade.
"We want Canon cameras as well to become the number 1 digital camera brand in Bangladesh," the CEO said.
He said that by the end of January Canon ICP products will be launched in the local market and other latest cameras at the earliest possible time on a competitive price.
Kafi said the company is going to set up camera service centres in the country very soon and a trained team will work in service delivery.
On this occasion, a workshop and a display of over a dozen of Canon's new camera models were organised at a city hotel where a delegate from Canon's regional headquarter's in Singapore demonstrated and discussed some of Canon's latest camera models and technologies.
