JANATA BANK ALCO MEETING HELD _

A meeting of the Asset-Liability Management Committee (ALCO) of Janata Bank PLC was held at the bank's head office recently, with Managing Director Md. Mazibur Rahman in the chair. Deputy Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman, along with the bank's general managers and concerned deputy general managers, attended the meeting. During the meeting, the managing director instructed officials to focus on increasing low-cost deposits and foreign remittance inflows, recovering and reducing classified loans, strengthening the recovery of written-off loans, and implementing other necessary measures to improve the bank's overall performance.
