JANATA BANK AND DUTCH-BANGLA BANK SIGN AGREEMENT ON ONLINE TRANSACTIONS
Janata Bank PLC and Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC have signed an agreement to facilitate online transactions through the Nexus payment gateway and Rocket. Under the agreement, JanataPay, Janata Bank's own payment gateway, will be enabled to accept online payments through Dutch-Bangla Bank's Nexus Debit Card, Rocket, Visa and Mastercard. Mohammad Anis, General Manager of the ICT Division of Janata Bank, and Abdullah Al Masud, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Branch Operations and Liability Division of Dutch-Bangla Bank, signed the agreement at Janata Bank's head office on Tuesday. The signing ceremony was attended by Janata Bank Chairman Muhammad Fazlur Rahman, Managing Director Md Mazibur Rahman, as well as Dutch-Bangla Bank Managing Director and CEO Md Ehteshamul Haque Khan.
