Janata Bank appoints agents to recover bad loans

Janata Bank Limited has appointed four private agents for recovery of bad loans.
The companies are Speed Services Limited, Multipromotional Services Limited, The Peoples Development Services Corporation Limited and Waso Engineers and Consultant (BD) Limited.
In this connection, agreements were signed between the bank and the participating companies in the city recently, said a press release.
The deputy general manager (Recovery Division) of Janata Bank and the managing directors of the four companies signed the deal on behalf of their respective companies.
Deputy Managing Director of Janata Bank Md Jahangir Mia handed over the lists of borrowers to the representatives of the agents for recovery of bad loans in line with the agreement signed with them.
The authorities of the bank have expressed the hope that with the signing of the deal the recovery of bad loans would be geared up, the release added.
