Janata Bank local office posts Tk 2.5b profit in 2009

Dhaka local office of Janata Bank posted Tk 2.45 billion profit in 2009 calendar year, said a press release.
The bank amassed a deposit of Tk 20 billion and disbursed advance of Tk 50 billion.
Export amount through the bank was over Tk 40 billion and the local office conducted processing of import worth Tk 80 billion.
The classified loan also decreased significantly to 3.5 per cent.
