Janata Bank to open NRB branch in city

A delegation of non-resident Bangladeshis (NRB) called on Janata Bank Ltd (JBL) Chairman Suhel Ahmed Choudhury at his office Wednesday and exchanged views on various issues of banking business.
The NRB delegates expressed keen interest in participating in economic development of the country and building the image of the country abroad.
The chairman said, presently, the board of directors of the bank is empowered with more operational freedom and in a position to render special banking services to the expatriates.
He also affirmed that JBL was going to open one NRB branch in the city to provide exclusive services to the expatriates.
