Janata Bank wins best bank award

The New York-based financial magazine Global Finance has selected Janata Bank Limited as the best bank in Bangladesh for 2008, says a press release.
The bank won the award for achieving high performance and growth in banking sector of Bangladesh.
The bank achieved the outstanding feat for the third consecutive year as it was adjudged the best emerging bank in Asia in 2007 also.
