Janata Exchange Company (JEC) Srl Italy, a subsidiary of Janata Bank Ltd, has recently signed an agreement with MoneyGram Payment System Italy to speed up remittance flow to Bangladesh. The signing ceremony was presided over by SM Aminur Rahman, chief executive officer and managing director of Janata Bank Ltd and chairman of Janata Exchange Company Srl Italy.
Bangladesh ambassador to Italy Masud Bin Momen was present as a guest of honour at the signing ceremony, said a press release.
Md Mahbubur Rahman, managing director of JEC Srl, and Ian G Dunhill, head of finance and administration of MoneyGram, Valentina Giorgi, head of sales, marketing and customer service of MoneyGram, signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.
Among others, Sultana Afroz, economic counsellor, Embassy of Bangladesh in Italy and member of BoD JEC Srl, Paola Luretti, chairman of BoA, and Katia Romano, marketing manager of MoneyGram, were present on the occasion.
