Japan Cup Karate begins today

The third Japan Cup Karate Competition begins in the city today (Friday) at the National Sports Council (NSC) gymnasium, reports UNB.
Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Masayuki Inoue will be the chief guest in the closing function of the daylong meet, organised by Bangladesh Karate Federation in cooperation with the Japan Embassy in Dhaka.
Director and CEO of Bangladesh Olympic Association Wali Ullah and JICA resident representative in Nobuko Suzuki Kayashima are expected to be the special guests at the function, to be presided by Karate Federation President and Home Secretary M Abdul Karim.
