Japan Trade Fair begins in city Nov 29

A four-day long Japan Trade Fair will begin November 29 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre (BCFCC) in the city.
The fair is being organised by Japan Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce (JBCC), Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro) and Shoo-Koo-Kai of Japan.
Some 58 companies both from Bangladesh and Japan will participate in the fair. Renowned Japanese manufacturers and service providers including Ajinomoto, Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA), Japan Bank for International Cooperation will participate in the fair.
This was disclosed at a press conference held at a local hotel Sunday in the city.
Finance, commerce and planning adviser AB Mirza Azizul Islam is likely to inaugurate the fair.
The fair will remain open from 12 noon to 8:0pm on the first day and from 10 am to 8:0pm on other days. Entry ticket fee has been fixed at Tk 20 per person.
