TOKYO, Mar 25 (AFP): Japanese auto sales are expected to fall to the lowest level in more than three decades over the coming year as the global economic downturn crushes demand for cars, an industry body said Tuesday.
The bleak forecast came as the country's top carmakers announced they had slashed their production by as much as half to cope with a collapse in demand.
