Japanese co to invest $15mat Adamjee EPZ

Japanese company M/s Maruhisa Pacific Co Limited will set up a knit, woven garments and textile industry at Adamjee Export Processing Zone (EPZ), said a press release.
Member (Engineering) of BEPZA M Mahbub Ul Alam and president of M/s Maruhisa Pacific Co Limited Kiminobu Hiraishi signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations in the city recently.
This hundred per cent foreign owned company will invest 15 million US dollars in setting up its unit and will produce knit, woven garments and textile.
It will also create employment opportunity for 1,570 people including 257 foreign nationals.
Executive chairman of BEPZA Brig General Jamil Ahmed Khan and other officials from both the organisations were also present on the occasion.
