Japanese envoy meets Khaleda

Japanese Ambassador in Dhaka Shiro Sadoshima met BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Thursday night. The meeting that began at 9:10pm at the BNP chief’s Gulshan office continued for nearly 35 minutes.  During the meeting, they discussed Bangladesh’s current political situation and various issues relating to mutual interests of the two countries, meeting sources said. BNP vice-chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and BNP chairperson’s advisers Reaz Rahman and Sabihuddin Ahmed were present at the meeting, according to a news agency.
