Japanese PM due Sept 6

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is scheduled to arrive Dhaka on September 6 on a two-day official visit to which Japan is giving serious interest, said an official on Tuesday. However, there is no formal announcement yet from the Foreign Ministry in Dhaka over the schedule of the visit. “Your (BD) Prime Minister’s Japan visit has been very successful and our PM (Japan) is taking the visit very seriously,” a Japanese diplomat told the UNB correspondent wishing not to be named.
