Japanese team calls on Employment Minister

A five-member Japanese delegation called on Labour and Employment Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain at the latter's secretariat office in the city Thursday, reports BSS.
Senior Vice-President of Japan International Training Cooperation Organisation (JITCO) Kensuke Tsuzuki led the delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interests particularly employment of Bangladeshi citizens in Japan.
The minister said many Bangladeshi workers now are working efficiently and with reputation in Japan.
He sought cooperation of Japan in providing Bangladeshi workers with better training.
Kensuke Tsuzuki assured the minister of taking necessary steps for the training for Bangladeshi workers.
Secretary in-charge of Labour and Employment Ministry Mohammad Ataharul Islam and Secretary in-charge of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry Iliyas Ahmed were present, among others, on the occasion.
