Japanese volunteers arrive in city

A six-member delegation of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) arrived in the city recently for a period of two years, reports BSS.
This Japanese team met with JICA Chief Representative Nobuko Suzuki Kayashima.
With this new batch of 6 volunteers, the number of JOCV volunteers in Bangladesh stood over 1,000, since 1973. The volunteers have worked in Bangladesh to support her effort to improve the lives of people with diversified field of expertise.
