JBFH takes various initiatives during Eid

Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (JBFH) in the city's Dhanmondi area tried to ensure proper health security for the mass people by taking various initiatives during the holy Eid-ul-Azha vacation, said a press release.
"The health hazards or accidents occuring during the vacation, should be dealt with the best medical services available in the city" - is the motto of Japan Bangladesh Friendship Medical Services Ltd (JBFMS), it said.
JBFMS also has a 40-seat tele health centre, operated by specialised doctors around 24/7. It has also established two medical booths, from where the people can measure their height, weight, blood pressure, blood group and blood sugar free of cost.
On the previous day of the Eid Day, 320 students were provided with these facilities, while 430 senior citizens undertook general health check up and took advices from the doctors during the Eid Day.
JBFMS also patrolled Dhanmondi area with an emergency ambulance during the occasion, which was first of its kind, the release added.
