JCD activist\\\'s tendons severed in Rajshahi

Miscreants stabbed a local activist of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and cut off the tendons of his two legs and one hand in Charghat upazila in Rajshahi district on Sunday night. The victim was identified as Roki, 22, son of Shamsher Ali of Miapur of Charghat. Officer-in-charge of Charghat Model Police Station Golam Martuja said Roki came under attack in PDC Government Primary School area around 8:15pm while he was going home in Miapur. Some miscreants swooped on him and stabbed him indiscriminately. At one stage, they severed the tendons of his two legs and left hand and fled the scene. Hearing his screams, local people rushed in and rescued him. Roki was first admitted to Charghat Upazila Health Complex and later shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) as his condition deteriorated, according to UNB.
