JCD attack injures 10 DU students

At least 10 students of Sir AF Rahman Hall of the Dhaka University (DU) were injured in an attack by activists of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) Friday night, reports UNB.
Witnesses said the JCD activists, led by its hall unit organising secretary Himel, attacked the room No 201 as its residents tried to resist a group of JCD activists from their attempt to push some of their fellowmen into the room.
According to the victims, the JCD activists ransacked the room and looted some of their valuables.
Five of the injured, including Raju, Abid and Zahir, were admitted to the University Medical Centre.
