JCD calls strike at DU on Sunday

Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) has called a general strike at Dhaka University Sunday to press home its six-point demand including trial of those responsible for the attack on its president Salauddin Ahmed Tuku on Jan 18 and the death of Dhaka University student Abu Bakar on Wednesday. JCD general secretary Amirul Islam Khan Alim announced the programme on Friday at a press conference.
