JCD calls strike at IU

Kushtia, Sept 28 (bdnews24.com): Opposition BNP-backed Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal has called for an indefinite strike at the Islamic University from Thursday in protest against the alleged attack perpetrated by their rival, pro-government Bangladesh Chhatra League.
The strike would continue until actions are taken against the perpetrators, Islamic University JCD president Omar Faruk told the news agency.
