JCD city, RU units enforced hartal in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Dec 1 (UNB): A daylong hartal, enforced by city and RU units of Jatiyatabadi Chchatra Dal (JCD) to press home their demands, including the immediate arrest of the 'real' killers of Rajshahi University (RU) teacher AKM Shafiul Islam, was observed peacefully in the district today (Monday).
City and RU units of JCD jointly announced the shutdown from a protest rally held at Bhubanmor Park in the city Friday afternoon.
