JCD president Rajib Ahsan held \\\'with Yaba\\\'

Detectives arrested Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) president Rajib Ahsan and five others reportedly along with 45 Yaba tablets in a car at Lebukhali Ferryghat in Dumki upazila of Patuakhali district on Sunday night. Tipped off, a team of Detective Branch of police conducted a drive in the area and intercepted the car around 11pm, said additional superintendent of police Foyez Ahmed while briefing reporters at Patuakhali DB office on Monday. During the drive, the law enforcers recovered the Yaba tablets searching the vehicle and later arrested the six, including the JCD leader, he said. Azam Khan, officer-in-charge of Dumki Police Station filed a case against them under the Narcotics Control Act. Rajib is accused in several cases filed over subversive acts, the OC added, according to a news agency.
