JCI Dhaka Aspire distributes reusable plastic plates

JCI Dhaka Aspire, a local organisation of JCI Bangladesh, has recently completed the phase-2 of its project titled "Serving the Orphans" covering an orphanage and hostels of Gazipur, says a statement.
This project is an initiative to create awareness about building a healthy eco-system and sustainability to reduce the plastic wastage that arises from using one-time low-quality plastic plates and also to build a healthy lifestyle.
Shovona Shahid, Local President of JCI Dhaka Aspire, along with the Board members distributed 1,000 reusable and durable plastic plates among around 1000 students and staff of the orphanage in Gazipur district.
This is an ongoing project of JCI Dhaka Aspire and more plates are under planning of distribution in the various orphanages, hostels and slums in Dhaka and Chittagong cities.
