JCI Dhaka United elects new execs

JCI Dhaka United, a concern of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bangladesh, has recently held its 5th General Members Meeting (GMM) followed by a General Assembly (GA) at Hotel Shinepukur Suites, says a press release.
The event started with the General Members Meeting (GMM), presided over by Muntasir Mamun, Local President of JCI Dhaka United, for the year 2023. In the meeting its mission and vision were highlighted by JCI Dhaka United general member Tasnim Tian. It was followed by a discussion on this year's projects alongside the presentation on the treasury report and its plans for the rest of the year by its Local Treasurer Fahmidur Rahman Oni.
After the GMM, the General Assembly (GA) of JCI Dhaka United took place where an official announcement on the elected executive committee members for the year 2024 was made. Senator Md. Azazul Hasan Khan, the Immediate Past Local President (IPLP) of JCI Dhaka United 2023, acted as the election commissioner in presence of Deputy National President of JCI Bangladesh 2023 Senator Imran Kadir and other national officers.
Md Kamruzzaman Pavel was elected as the Local President of JCI Dhaka United for the year 2024. Ummey Noor Habiba was elected as Executive Vice President, Tanjila Sari Alam and Fahmidur Rahman Oni Vice President conjointly.
Other members selected in the board for the year 2024 are Anamul Haque -- Secretary General, Shahadat Hossain Saadi -- General Legal Counsel and Md Rabiul Islam -- Treasurer. National President of JCI Bangladesh 2023 Senator Md. Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan and Deputy National President 2023 Senator Imran Kadir alongside the presidents and vice presidents from other chapters also attended the ceremony.
