JD activist hurt by miscreants dies at MMCH

JAMALPUR, Feb 3 (UNB): A Jubo Dal activist, who suffered injuries in an attack by miscreants in Sharishabari upazila on Sunday afternoon, died at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Sujan Khar, 30, a convener committee member of Bhatara union unit of Jubo Dal and son of Chan Mia of Bhatara village.
Officer-in-charge of Sharishabari Police Station Qamrul Ahsan said Sujan came under attack at Bausi Bazar around 5:00pm while returning home from a workers' conference of Jubo Dal at Armannagar Bazar.
Miscreants hit him in the head and hand with hammers and iron rods and also chopped him with sharp weapons, leaving him injured.
