JESSORE, Apr 18: BNP backed Mizan- Bablu- Kabul and Awami League backed Banshi- Kabu- Mizan panels shared posts in the election of Jessore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. BNP backed panel got 10 posts while Awami League backed panel got 8 out of 18 posts. A total of 36 businessmen contested for 18 posts for election that was held after 28 years. Some 600 voters out of 697 exercised their voting rights in the election Saturday at the chamber office. The last election was held in 1996.
