JETRO keen on cooperation with DCCI

Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) wants to cooperate with Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) in promotion of trade and investment between Dhaka and Tokyo.
JETRO Country Director Kei Kawla spoke of this cooperation when he met DCCI president Mohammad Shahjahan Khan at the DCCI office Wednesday. DCCI Vice President Kh Shahidul Islam was present.
JETRO official said Bangladesh should take steps to build the country’s image in doing business.
He said JETRO is interested in translating and publishing “Business Start-up Licenses: A Regulatory Guide” published by BUILD in Japanese Language to facilitate Japanese Business entrepreneurs to invest in Bangladesh.
Shahjahan Khan informed Kawla that the Bangladesh and Japan have potentials to promote trade and economic relations, according to a news agency.
