JICA president to visit DU on June 16

President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Akihiko Tanaka will visit Dhaka University (DU) on June 16, reports BSS.
He will address students, teachers, researchers and officials of DU at 10:00 am on the day at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, said a DU press release Friday.
This was finalised at a meeting held between DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique and JICA Senior Representative Kei Toyama Friday at the VC's residential office of the university.
During his visit, the JICA president is also expected to visit Japan Study Centre at Dhaka University and exchange views with DU authorities relating to JICA-supported programmes and activities now going on at DU.
