JMB activist arrested in Naogaon

NAOGAON, Apr 23 (UNB): Police arrested an activist of the banned Islamist militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) at Bamnitola in Atrai Upazila early Friday.
The arrested was identified as Babu, a close associate of JMB second-in-command Bangla Bhai and accused of six cases including murder.
Police said Babu established a reign of terror in Atrai and Raninagar uapzilas in 2004 as an associate of Bangla Bhai. He went into hiding after the execution of Bangla Bhai.
