JMB bomb expert Mizan on 7-day remand

Police Saturday remanded Jahidur Rahman Mizan, the bomb expert of banned Islamist outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), in custody for seven days to question him. The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Dhaka Syeda Minhajum Munira put Boma Mizan, as he is commonly known, on remand after the police produced asked for 10 days. Mizan was captured Thursday evening at his Pirerbag residence in the
capital's Mirpur area.
