RAB Monday arrested a leader of the banned terrorist outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in Dhaka. Sagir Hossain, charged for the 2005 serial bomb blasts, was arrested from the capital's Vatara area. RAB-1 Operations Officer Kamrul Hassan told bdnews24.com: "Sagir is one of the accused in the August 17 blasts across the country. He was arrested from the city's Vatara area on Sunday night.” On August 17, 2005, explosions set off by the JMB in 63 districts had shaken the country. The militant outfit was banned later and its top leaders were executed.
