Jagannath University Teachers’ Association (JnUTA) has announced to continue their agitation programme on the university campus until the recovery of its Tibet Hall occupied by an Awami League leader. JnUTA President Sarkar Akkas Ali and university Proctor Ashok Kumar Saha made the announcement from a human chain programme organised by the students and teachers at the Jatiya Press Club on Monday. Earlier, a section of students and teachers brought out a silent procession and formed the three-hour human chain protesting Sunday’s police attack on them that left 50 people injured. They also announced to continue their agitation programme from 10:30 am on Tuesday until the government takes steps to reclaim the Tibet Hall which is under the occupation of the ruling party leader, also an independent MP, according to a news agency.
