Jagannath University (JNU) students Wednesday morning demonstrated on the campus demanding immediate cut of the recent hike in seminar, transport and monthly fees.
Hundreds of students from all 28 departments of the university joined the demonstration, boycotting classes, to press home their demand, JNU sources said.
However, the demonstrating students postponed their agitation at noon, as the university vice-chancellor assured them of withdrawing the increased fees of Tk 450.
