Joint meeting of BNP, front bodies held

A joint meeting of BNP and its associate bodies was held on Monday at the party’s Nayapaltan central office.
The meeting, chaired by BNP standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, discussed various issues relating to its organisational activities and party’s programmes on the day of Eid-ul-Azha, UNB reported.
Meeting sources said leaders and activists of BNP and its associate bodies will pay homage to party founder Ziaur Rahman at 4pm on the eid day by placing wreaths at his grave.
Gayeshwar directed all who joined the meeting to make the programme a success.
BNP leaders Asaduzzaman Ripon, Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, Abdus Salam Azad, Syed Imran Saleh Prince, Asadul Karim Shaheen and leaders of its associate bodies were present at the meeting.
