Journalism students worldwide interested in gaining work experience in the United States have the chance to apply for the Scripps Howard Semester in
Washington Internship Programme. Deadline: October 1.The programme, administered by the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), will bring one student for 10 to 14 weeks to Washington, D.C., where the intern will write news and features for the Scripps How`ard news service.
The programme, intended for English-speaking students, covers all travel, living and insurance expenses. Organized three times each year, the next semester begins in January.
