Journalist Abul Bashar passes away

Journalist Abul Bashar, editor of now defunct ‘Weekly Chashi Barta’ died on Monday in Faridpur after prolonged illness. Family sources said Abul Bashar breathed his last at his residence at Raghunandanpur in the suburb of Faridpur town. He was 65. He left behind his wife, one son, two daughters and a host of relatives and colleagues to morn his death. Eminent persons in Faridpur town, including the journalists paid their last respect to him when his body was brought to Faridpur Press Club. He was buried at Alipur graveyard, family sources said, according to a news agency.
