Journalist assaulted by BCL cadres on RU campus

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, JAN 11: The journalists of the Rajshahi University (RU) formed a human chain and placed a memo to the Vice Chancellor with five points of demand including quick arrest, exemplary punishment of the miscreants for assaulting a journalist Sunday night.
Some unruly Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) cadres of Rajshahi University assaulted RU Correspondent of the daily Dinkal Munsur Ali Saikot in his room at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman hall.
When contacted with the RU BCL unit president Ibrahim Hossen Moon said the miscreants were expelled from Chhatra League and they must be punished.
