Journalist critically injured by miscreants

KHULNA, Apr 30 (UNB) : A journalist and his brother were critically injured by a gang of miscreants at Godaipur village in Paikgachha Upazila Friday night.
The victims were identified as FMA Razzak, editor of local fortnightly 'Gonomichhil' and former president of Paikgachha Upazila Press Club, his brother Oliar Rahman, sons of Nur Ali Fakir of the village.
Police said a gang of miscreants forcibly took Razzak and his brother Oliar to a secluded place.
Later, they beat them up mercilessly with iron rods, leaving their hands and legs broken and tried to gouge out the eyes of Razzak.
