Journalist Enamul Haque dead

Enamul Haque, permanent member of the Chittagong Press Club and Senior Sub-editor of the Dainik Karnophuli, a regional daily of the port city, died at his village home at Dakshin Modia of Chhagalnaiya upazila under Feni on Friday evening. He was 56, reports BSS.
He was suffering from hypertension, diabetics and kidney related prolonged and complicated diseases. He is survived by a host of relatives and admirers, including wife, four sons and two daughters, to mourn his death.
Enamul Haq started his career as Assistant Editor of the 'Dainik Swadhinata', another regional daily of the port city, in 1974. Then he joined 'Dainik Nayabangla','Dainik Eshan' and lastly worked in the Daily Karnophuli.
He was elected executive council member at the biennial election of the Chittagong Union of Journalist (CUJ) in 2014.
The journalist leaders also conveyed their sympathy to the bereaved family members of the deceased journalist.
