Journalist Fouzul Karim passes away

Senior journalist Fouzul Karim, popularly known as Tara Bhai, passed away at a city hospital on Wednesday. He was 84. Hospital and family sources said, Fouzul Karim breathed his last around 12noon at Central Hospital in Green Road. He left behind wife, a host of relatives, friends, colleagues and admirers to mourn his death. He will be buried at Mirpur Intellectual Graveyard after namaj-e-janaza at a mosque at Road No-7 in Dhanmondi residential area after Maghrib prayers. Fouzul Karim, the former Executive Editor of the now-defunct Bengali daily 'Dainik Bangla', was admitted to the hospital after he fell ill before Eid-ul-Azha, according to a news agency.
