Journalist Golam Mostafa Chy passes away

COMILLA, June 19 (UNB): Golam Mostafa Chowdhury, district correspondent of the daily Ittefaq, died of old age complications at a local medical centre early Thursday. He was 80.
Mostafa Chowdhury has left behind his wife, two sons and host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was former president and founder member of local press club and also associated with different organisations during his lifetime.
The deceased was buried at Tomsom Bridge graveyard in the town after his Namaj-e-Janaza at local town hall ground after Asr prayers today (Thursday).
