Journalist Lablu passes away

Syed Akhteruzzaman Siddiqui Lablu, chief reporter of the Bangla daily Bhorer Kagoj, passed away on Tuesday night while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the city.
He was 52.
He had been suffering from liver cancer for long, reports BSS.
He was laid to eternal rest at the Azimpur graveyard on Wednesday afternoon.
Before his burial around 2:30 pm, the body had been taken to his workplace Bhorer Kagoj at 11:00 am and at Dhaka Reporters Unity at 12:00 noon. His namaz-e- janaza was also held there.
The third namaz-e-janaza of the deceased was heldat the National Press Club after Zohr prayers.
