Journalist loses belongings in Parjatan motel

RANGPUR, July 18 (UNB): Thieves looted cash and valuables of a journalist from Motel of Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation Sunday.
Sources said a 5-member team of journalists from the News Network's Dhaka office went to Rangpur Saturday. They were lodged with the Parjatan Motel.
At the dead of night, the thieves broke into the room of journalist and eminent ecologist Hossain Shahriar and took away cash Tk 4,000, a costly digital camera, a mobile phone set and other valuables.
Later in the morning, Hossain informed the Motel authorities and local police about the incident.
