Journo Abdul Baten passes away

Abdul Baten, former news editor of the Daily Ittefaq, died at his Savar residence on Sunday, report agencies.
He was 92.
Abdul Baten, a member of Jatiya Press Club, had been sufferings from lung cancer. He breathed his last around 12:50 am.
He left behind his daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death, said a press release.
He was buried at his family graveyard at Hemayetpur in Savar following a namaz-e-janaza at the Jatiya Press Club.
