Journo Atiqul to be laid to rest today

Noted journalist Atiqul Alam will be laid to rest today (Wednesday) after his son, a US expatriate, reaches Bangladesh, reports bdnews24.com.
His widow Rowshan Ara Alam told the news agency his namaz-e-janaza had been shifted to Wednesday from Tuesday.
"His janaza will be held after Asr prayers at the Moghbazar Kazi Office mosque alley," she said.
He would be buried at Banani graveyard.
She said her son Shawkat Shamim already left the US and is scheduled to reach Bangladesh on Wednesday morning.
Reuters Dhaka bureau's founder chief Atiqul Alam died at his father-in-law's house in Bogra on Monday.
